If you are looking for a nice useful map of Vancouver, Canada then you can find them right here on this page (lucky you!).
Vancouver is the third largest city in Canada, after Toronto and Montreal. Actually, that is not quite correct. It is actually the eight largest city when it look at Vancouver proper on its own, but if we include the entire metropolitan area then it is third. For example, Calgary has a much larger city population than Vancouver, but it basically has no suburbs - just the city proper. Vancouver has a number of suburbs that nearly quadruple Vancouver`s population. The city proper has 603,502 people, while the metro area has 2,313,328 people.
It is Canada`s gateway to the Asia Pacific region, and is home to a large number of immigrants from Asia as well as short term residents from Asia, like exchange students and those on working holiday visas.
As part of the Pacific Northwest it has a temperate climate, with mild summers and some of the warmest (or least cold) winter weather in Canada. The only place warmer in the winter is Vancouver Island, which is slightly warmer. Vancouver is only about a 2 hour drive from Seattle, Washington and has a very similar climate and natural surroundings.
This first image is a map of Greater Vancouver, including all the surrounding suburbs like Richmond, Burnaby, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Surrey, Coquitlam, Port Moody, and Ladner. This map gives some context and helps us imagine Vancouver`s surrounding areas.
This next one is a simple map of Vancouver showing all the main streets throughout most of the city.
This last one is a map of Vancouver showing the Canada Line and Skytrain stations. This is very useful for visitors to Vancouver, because the Canada Line is a great way to get from the airport to downtown, and to get around town in general.
I hope you found the kind of map you were searching for.
